Dear Loire Valley Homeowners,

The Association's 2026 Board of Directors Election concluded on August 26, 2026.

Two (2) Board positions were available during this election cycle. At the close of nominations, one (1) qualified candidate, Michael Schmaltz, had submitted a nomination. Incumbent Director Bob Lasser subsequently agreed to continue serving on the Board, resulting in the number of qualified candidates equaling the number of available seats.

Election by Acclamation

Pursuant to California Civil Code §5103, when the number of qualified candidates is not greater than the number of vacancies to be filled, and all required election procedures and notice requirements have been satisfied, an Association may seat the qualified candidates by acclamation without conducting a ballot election.

Accordingly, the following homeowners have been seated to the Board of Directors by acclamation:

• Michael Schmaltz
• Bob Lasser

• Sara Hickey – Secretary
• Lynn Jilka – Member at Large
• Bob Lasser – Officer title to be determined at the next Board meeting
• Michael Schmaltz – Officer title to be determined at the next Board meeting
