Loire Valley Annual Spring-Cleaning Event
Posted on Apr 4th, 2025
It's Spring-Cleaning time in Loire Valley! Friday, April 11 through Friday April 18, 2025
Recently Loire Valley homeowners voted by an overwhelming majority (96 Yes votes vs. 6 No votes) to adopt restated CC&Rs. The new CC&Rs contain an important change related to garage, driveway, and street parking rules. The exact language is as follows: Section 9.3.3 Garages shall be used for the parking of vehicles and for storage purposes only and shall not be converted for living or recreational activities except as may be otherwise permitted by law. Garages shall be maintained in a manner such that they are capable of parking one (1) car for a two (2) car garage and two (2) cars for a three (3) car garage. Once a garage is used to its required capacity then overflow parking shall go to the driveway and then to the street. (Restated CC&Rs, 2024, p.24).
The Board urges homeowners to use the neighborhood dumpsters and ensure their garage complies with new parking rules. The new rules are designed to clear Loire Valley streets of excessive numbers of parked vehicles and improve driver visibility and safety for the growing numbers of young children playing, and pedestrians walking within our community. Please do your part to improve our neighborhood.
The Board has approved having three (3) dumpster bins this year. See second page of attached file for map and location of dumpster bins.
Rules for use of the dumpster will be posted on the container itself, however, for your convenience, the rules are also listed below:
1. Use by Loire Valley residents ONLY.
2. Organize and pack items neatly from BACK to FRONT in the dumpster.
3. Close the door once you have organized your items inside.
4. Do NOT put objects in the street if the dumpster is full.
5. NO construction materials!
6. NO hazardous materials (including but not limited to: paint, aerosol cans, oil, batteries).
7. NO landscaping materials (stems, leaves, sod, mulch, etc.).
8. NO electronics (computers, televisions, printers) those items can be taken to Goodwill.
If you witness anyone not following the rules or problems with the dumpster, call or email Therese Chrzan with Castle Breckenridge immediately at 619-306-2217 or at tchrzan@cbmgmt.com. She is the point of contact for the dumpster.
Please do not wait until the last minute to dispose of your items, as the dumpster may already be gone. The dumpster is first come first served. We have arranged for it to remain for one week, but it will be picked up when full.
Thank you, Loire Valley HOA Board of Directors
